Meet our Guest: Amara Wagner

For nearly twenty years I have been working with mothers as an Integrative Health Coach, helping them tap into their own inner wisdom and empowering them with practical tools to support holistic health for themselves and their family.

One of my absolute favorite things to do is invite mothers into my kitchen to cook and enjoy food that is nourishing to our body, soul and taste buds. I believe a major foundation of holistic health comes back to how and what we eat, but food is only one component of what contributes to a state of health. The sense of community and support that we feel when we gather in the kitchen is equally health supportive. Every time moms join me in my kitchen they share that something magical happens. They describe feeling more themselves and they always leave feeling more empowered and inspired. Many of my most cherished times and deepest connections with other mamas have happened in my kitchen.

As life has gotten more hectic and the world crazier, it's not always possible to have moms in my physical kitchen as often as I would like and so, THIS virtual space was born.

My kitchen is where life happens—creativity, dreams, tears, laughter, aha moments, honest conversation, vulnerability, connection—it's SO much more than cooking food. I think of THIS space as my virtual kitchen, and I am so happy to invite you to join me to experience all of this right here!

This isn’t your typical mom’s group or online chat and it's not simply a resource to search for recipes (although there ARE lots of amazing recipes!) THIS is Amara's virtual kitchen and I welcome you here and offer supportive space to explore the topics relating to your own health and wellness as well as your family's. I invite you here to be real, to ask for and receive support, and to offer it as well.

The moms I coach come to me with a desire to improve their overall health and well-being and they know that my approach is a holistic one. I recognize that we are each on our own path, especially when it comes to our health. I do not follow any single dietary theory and I honor and respect that the choices you make may be different from the choices I make. The main focus in this community is on food, recipes, holistic health and nutrition for our family that is nourishing to our mind, body and soul, but not every recipe or suggestion might be ideal for you. I trust that we all make decisions that are best for ourselves and by joining this community you also acknowledge that neither I nor anyone in this community are giving medical advice and you take full responsibility for your health and the health of your family.
