Changing Your Practice After Motherhood Changes Your Life With Dr. Andrea Hoglen-Dunlap
Dr. Andrea Hoglen is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, Class of April 2011.
She has been practicing in her home state of Michigan for the past five years, but she has been a part the chiropractic community for over thirteen years, serving as a chiropractic assistant, x-ray technician, and administrative assistant prior to graduating with her doctorate.
She currently owns her own practice in her hometown of Plymouth, where she resides with her family and serves on the Board of Directors with her Community Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Andrea is a wife and mom to her son, Collin, who is almost one. She enjoys running, hiking, and yarn craft.

Meet our Guest: Dr. Andrea Hoglen-Dunlap
Dr. Andrea is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, where she earned her doctorate in April 2011. Dr. Andrea is also board certified in Physiotherapy through the NBCE and K-Laser certified in Class 4 Laser therapies. Prior to her graduate level studies, Dr. Andrea Hoglen studied at the University of Michigan and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences from Logan University.
Dr. Andrea is an avid runner, running both for fitness and fun. She enjoys working with cross-country runners and other athletes, applying her knowledge of muscular rehab along with her own personal athletic experience. Dr. Andrea has also trained in classical ballet, and has studied other classical dance over the years. She also enjoys Hot Air Ballooning with her parents, and visiting the many great community theaters that the Detroit-Area has to offer. She is also the proud mother of one, a little boy named Collin, who Dr. Andrea welcomed into the world in October 2015.
After the birth of her son, Dr. Andrea became an advocate for Birth Empowerment and women's choice in childbirth. She is passionate about treating expectant mothers, postpartum mothers, and newborns. Offering care to mothers and babies during this transitional time is uplifting and empowering to women from all backgrounds and with all variety of birth plans.
Dr. Andrea Hoglen is originally from the Plymouth-Canton area, having attended the Plymouth Canton Educational Park. After completing her study in Chiropractic Sciences, she is pleased to have been able to return to an area she knows and loves where she seeks to provide the highest quality of natural care to active families and individuals.
Dr. Andrea is trained in Activator Technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Diversified Technique, Thompson Technique, Logan Basic Technique, Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technique, and a variety of muscular rehabilitative therapies. She is also trained in the Webster Technique for pregnancy, and SOT Cranial Techniques for Migraine headaches and TMJ dysfunction.
Dr. Andrea is Class 4 Laser Certified in the use of Low Level Laser Therapy. This therapy, whether it is used independently or in addition to chiropractic care, is ideal for increasing the healing potential of injuries while reducing pain and inflammation.
With a variety of techniques and approaches at her disposal, she is able to select the treatment protocol which is best for every individual. Dr. Andrea also employs the use of whole food nutrition and homeopathic remedies to achieve the best results in patient care.
