Mindset And Self-Care Shifts for Moms And Mompreneurs with Dr. Carly Crewe: Episode 168
Mindset And Self-Care Shifts for Moms And Mompreneurs with Dr. Carly Crewe
As mothers we are often expected to take care of everything from the house, kids, laundry, cooking, shopping, and more. No wonder our anxiety levels are off the charts!
In today’s episode, I talk to Dr. Carly Crewe. After having her twin girls and struggling with anxiety herself, she started to notice a trend with mothers coming into her office.
Carly now specializes in family medicine and has become an anxiety coach for mothers. To learn more about anxiety and the effect it can have on women, she decided to become a coach and create a deeper level of connection with her patients.
In this episode, we cover:
- Just because many of us suffer from some form of anxiety, this does not discount the seriousness of what it can do to your health and the health of your families.
- How maternity, postpartum, motherhood and mental illness should not go together. That’s not normal.
- How what is happening in our lives affects our bodies physically, but also impacts us mentally. It’s our bodies trying to tell us something.
- How the root of anxiety is often associated with people pleasing and trying to avoid conflicts.
